OVERVIEW

The Flextec 650X multi-process welder is a durable power source designed for heavy-duty applications. It can be used with a wide range of 3 phase input power and features an easy one-knob process selection for convenience. With its fast arc response, it delivers a smooth arc action and consistent bead appearance. The user weld schedule memory storage allows for easy recall of frequently used procedures, but it is only available with Power Feed® and Flex Feed® 84 wire feeders. This welder is reliable and built to withstand high temperatures, making it suitable for outdoor use and harsh environments (IP23 rated). It is also Desert Duty® Rated for extreme temperatures up to 55°C. With its flexibility, it is ideal for large diameter wire or stick welding on thick materials. It is compatible with most Lincoln Electric® feeders, including common bench and boom models, portable across-the-arc models, and CrossLinc™ or ArcLink®-equipped models. The welder also offers premium multi-process arc characteristics on all DC wire, stick, and TIG processes. It is compatible with CrossLinc™ Technology, allowing for full functionality without control cables. This technology enables remote procedure setting at the feeder, improving weld quality. It also reduces trips to the power source to adjust settings, increasing arc time and improving safety by reducing jobsite clutter. Please note that a CrossLinc compatible accessory is required for this feature.
