ArcReach® Technology: ArcReach capabilities increase jobsite productivity and efficiency by eliminating the time spent tracing weld cables hundreds of feet back to the power source because weld operators can make voltage adjustments at the ArcReach wire feeder or remote. Rugged and Durable Inside and Out: All aluminum construction makes the machine resist corrosion for long life. With exclusive technologies including Wind Tunnel Technology™ and Fan-On-Demand™, the Dimension 650 will withstand the elements and keep on working! Power Efficient: High electrical efficiency and excellent power factor mean that you can get more welding done using less power. On 460 VAC input power, the Dimension 650 at rated output can operate on a 50-amp service. Four machines can work at maximum loads simultaneously, drawing less amperage than three previous models. Smaller and lighter: Reduced size and weight results in 40% less floor space than previous model giving a package that exceeds the welding performance of larger, heavier machines. Improved Jobsite Safety: The chances of slip, trip and fall injuries are decreased because ArcReach technology allows weld operators to make parameter changes at the wire feeder or remote instead of having to travel through multistory and cluttered jobsites back to the power source. Improved Arc Performance: High-quality performance for power-intensive projects to precise weldments! Optimized arc performance brings capabilities of running both gas-shielded or self-shielded Flux-Cored wires along with solid wire. Gouging mode provides 800 amps of usable power, 650 amps at 100% duty cycle, perfect for heavy gouging with 3/8-inch carbons. Sub Arc mode provides capability to retrofit into nondigital Sub Arc applications. Excellent Stick and Lift Arc TIG performance. Arc control provides fine-tuning of tough-to-weld materials and out-of-position applications. Control Panel Lock Out: Inadvertent parameter changes by other jobsite workers can be avoided because connecting an ArcReach accessory to the power source automatically locks out the power source’s panel controls. Increased Productivity: More arc-on time and reduced exposure to workplace hazards for operators can be realized using ArcReach because less time is spent going back to the welding power supply to set process and arc voltage. Auto-Process Select™: Avoid incorrect weld process selection by using Auto-Process Select which automatically returns the Dimension 650 to the previous settings when ArcReach accessory is disconnected. If the Dimension is set to gouging at 650 amps and an ArcReach feeder is connected, the Dimension will go to a MIG/FCAW process. If the feeder is disconnected, the Dimension will go back to its previous gouging settings. ArcReach Heater Compatibility: Take charge of your field preheat and bakeout applications up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit (315°C). This system uses induction heating to generate heat in workpieces, so welders can do their own preheating quickly and safely. A part of the ArcReach technology platform, the ArcReach Heater is an accessory for select ArcReach welding power sources.
