The Tweco® Spray Master® Series 450 A MIG Gun is a high-quality tool designed to accommodate wires of size 0.045 - 1/16". Its ergonomic handle design reduces fatigue for welders, making it comfortable to use for extended periods of time. This air-cooled MIG gun is perfect for both spray and pulse welding applications. The simplified direct rear plug allows for easy installation. The 25' power cable offers excellent wire feedability and features a Miller® style rear connection. With an 80% duty cycle when using argon/CO2 gases, this MIG gun has the capacity to deliver under pressure. It is easy to repair and requires minimal maintenance.

This MIG gun is equipped with a diffuser which enhances its performance in high heat applications. The heavy-duty thick-walled contact tip and diffuser increase tip life and minimize downtime when it comes to changing tips. The handle is designed to pivot at the center, making it easy to use in various welding positions and reducing operator fatigue. The extended trigger length keeps the hand away from the arc, reducing radiated heat. The steel spring strain relief provides support to the Cablehoz® coming out the rear of the handle, minimizing wire feed issues.

For added convenience, there is an optional mechanical locking trigger available. The gun also features front and rear spring strain relief and cable support, a compact and ergonomic handle design, and a durable metal jacketed conductor tube. The patented extended life consumables ensure a longer lifespan for the gun. It is also field repairable, thanks to the split-half handle case that provides easy access for repairs. Additionally, the mechanical cable connections for Cablehoz® spare trigger leads in Cablehoz® are field repairable.

This MIG gun is designed for lower heat in the handle and conductor tube, thanks to the heavy wall conductor tube and front Cablehoz® connection which improves electrical conductivity and decreases heat in the front end. The heavy-duty contact tip and diffuser also improve performance in high heat applications.

With the Tweco® Spray Master Series 450 A MIG Gun, you have various options for gun configurations. The standard trigger provides on/off operation, but there is also the option for a dual schedule and locking trigger. This MIG gun is compatible with a wide range of welding applications, including spray transfer mode and pulse welding with straight CO2 or mixed gases.
