The Tweco® Spray Master® Series 450 A MIG Gun is a highly durable and efficient tool for welding applications. It is equipped with a heavy-duty contact tip that can accommodate wires of size 0.045 - 1/16". The ergonomic handle design of this MIG gun helps reduce welder fatigue, allowing for comfortable and extended use.
This air-cooled MIG gun is perfect for both spray and pulse welding applications. It features a simplified direct rear plug, making installation quick and easy. The 20' Power cable ensures good wire feedability and has a Tweco® style rear connection.
With an 80% duty cycle when used with argon/CO2 gases, this MIG gun is capable of delivering quality performance even under pressure. It is also designed for easy repair and requires minimal maintenance. The gun includes a diffuser to enhance performance in high heat applications.
The heavy-duty thick-walled contact tip and diffuser of this MIG gun increase tip life and decrease downtime associated with tip changes. It is balanced to pivot at the center of the handle, making it easy to use in different welding positions and reducing operator fatigue. The extended trigger length keeps the hand away from the arc, minimizing radiated heat.
For added convenience, the gun is equipped with a steel spring strain relief to provide support for the Cablehoz® coming out of the rear of the handle, minimizing wire feed issues. There is also an optional mechanical locking trigger available, identified with the "LC" Part No. suffix. Both front and rear spring strain relief and cable support are included.
The compact and ergonomic handle design ensures a comfortable grip during use. The MIG gun features a durable metal jacketed conductor tube and patented extended-life consumables. In case of any damage, the split-half handle case allows for easy access and repair.
To improve electrical conductivity and reduce heat in the handle and conductor tube, this MIG gun has a heavy wall conductor tube and a front Cablehoz® connection that is crimped. The heavy-duty contact tip and diffuser further enhance performance in high heat applications.
The gun offers various configuration options, including standard trigger on/off operation and optional dual schedule and locking trigger. It is suitable for a wide range of welding applications, including spray transfer mode and pulse welding with straight CO2 or mixed gases.
Additionally, using this MIG gun helps reduce inventory carrying costs as the front end consumables are interchangeable between Tweco® classic no. Series and Tweco® Spray Master Series.
