The Tweco® Spray Master® Series 250 A MIG Gun is a heavy-duty tool designed to accommodate wire sizes of 0.035 - 0.045". It features an ergonomic handle design that reduces fatigue for welders. This air-cooled MIG gun is perfect for spray and pulse welding applications, with a simplified direct rear plug for easy installation. The 12' cable enables the MIG gun to swivel 360 degrees around the handle, allowing for rapid removal and replacement without removing the conduit. The gun also offers a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection at the rear Tweco® connection, making it easy to connect or disconnect at the wire feeder. With an 80% duty cycle and the ability to deliver under pressure, this MIG gun is durable and requires minimal maintenance. It is equipped with a diffuser for enhanced performance in high heat applications, and a three-layer conductor tube that acts as a heat sink. The heavy-duty contact tip and diffuser increase tip life and reduce downtime with tip changes. The gun is balanced to pivot at the center of the handle, making it easy to use in different welding positions and reducing operator fatigue. It also has an extended trigger length to keep the hand away from the arc and reduce radiated heat. The steel spring strain relief provides support to the Cablehoz® coming out the rear of the handle, minimizing wire feed issues. An optional mechanical locking trigger is available, identified with the "LC" Part No. suffix. The MIG gun features front and rear spring strain relief and cable support, as well as a compact, ergonomic handle design. It has a durable metal jacketed conductor tube and patented, extended life consumables. The split-half handle case allows for easy field repair, and the mechanical cable connections for Cablehoz® spare trigger leads in Cablehoz® can also be repaired in the field. The MIG gun has lower heat in the handle and conductor tube due to the heavy wall conductor tube and crimped front Cablehoz® connection, which improves electrical conductivity. It is also equipped with a heavy-duty contact tip and diffuser for improved performance in high heat applications. The gun offers various standard and optional configurations for trigger operation, including dual schedule and locking trigger options. It is suitable for a wide range of welding applications, including spray transfer mode and pulse welding with straight co2 or mixed gases. The interchangeable front end consumables between Tweco® classic no. Series and Tweco® spray master series help to lower inventory carrying costs.
