The QFW torch body, which is water-cooled, has a rating of 600 Amps at 100% duty cycle. It is capable of welding with wire diameters ranging from .030" to 1/8". This torch style is specifically designed for situations where the wire feeder and work area can be in close proximity, and the welded assembly can rotate or be moved under the conductor tube. With no power cables to worry about, you can easily plug the assembly into any wire feeder, connect the inlet and outlet water hoses to a water-cooler, and start welding right away.
This series is compatible with TWECO(r) Robotics QTRW63, QTRW64, and QTRW66 conductor tubes, known for their extreme rigidity and reliability. These conductor tubes are available in various bend configurations, catering to your specific robotic welding needs. Please note that the QTRW series conductor tubes are sold separately.
To minimize the risk of moisture entering the conductor tube and conduit, there are water shut-off valves positioned within the torch body. This allows for the removal of the conductor tube without interrupting the water supply.
Additionally, this torch body features Quick Tube Locking, ensuring a secure fit for the conductor tube. It also includes a Purge Hose for applying ProTex(tm) anti-spatter compound through the conductor tube and nozzle. The torch is furnished with an R45-116 conduit and a rear connector plug compatible with TWECO®, Miller®, and Lincoln®. Lastly, the water hose connections are quick and effortless.
