Tweco® Recess, Threaded Light Duty Nozzle offers easy identification with its 5/8" fixed size and rolled stamped part number on the surface. Adjustability allows users to achieve the desired relationship between the contact tip and nozzle. The nozzle housing is made from durable 122 dhp copper alloy tubing, while it conveniently slides over the standard nozzle insulator. The recessed tips are ideal for high heat applications that require longer electrical stick-out or when the nozzle might come into contact with the work piece during tack, spot, and stitch operations. On the other hand, flush tips are suitable for shorter electrical stick-out, resulting in shorter and tighter arc lengths, positioning the tip closer to the work piece. Protruding tips are designed for welding open root pipe or tight weld joints. However, there is a potential risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, which could lead to downtime and the need for replacement of front-end components.
