The Tweco® Coarse Threaded Copper Nozzle is a high-quality, durable option for your welding needs. With a 0.625" bore size, it is designed for use with a standard gas diffuser. Crafted from a solid copper alloy bar, this nozzle ensures consistent dimensional stability and efficient heat dissipation.
Measuring at 1.53" with a 1.07" outer diameter, this nozzle is perfect for medium to heavy duty welding applications up to 450 A. Its part number is clearly stamped on the outer surface for easy identification.
Featuring a 2-piece design, the nozzle is made of 145 tellurium copper alloy. It is sold in packs of two. The nozzle housing and nozzle insulator are sold separately. The insulator is threaded onto the conductor tube to provide insulation to the nozzle.
There are three types of tips available: recessed, flush, and protruding. Recessed tips are recommended for higher heat applications and situations where a longer electrical stick-out is required or when the nozzle may come into contact with the workpiece. Flush tips are ideal for situations where a shorter electrical stick-out is used, resulting in shorter and tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are best suited for welding in tight joints, such as open root pipe joints, although there is a risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece.
