The Tweco® Coarse Threaded Copper Nozzle is specifically designed for nozzle insulator use. With a 0.375" bore size, this nozzle is machined from a solid copper alloy bar, ensuring consistent dimensions and efficient heat dissipation. Ideal for medium to heavy duty welding applications up to 450 A, this 1.75" nozzle with a 1.07" OD features a part number stamped on the surface for easy identification. It is made of durable 145 tellurium copper alloy and is sold in packs of two. The two-piece design allows the nozzle housing to thread onto the nozzle insulator. Please note that the nozzle housing and nozzle insulator are sold separately. The nozzle insulator is used to thread onto the conductor tube and provides insulation to the nozzle. Different tip styles are available depending on the specific welding requirements. Recessed tips are suitable for high heat applications or situations where the nozzle may come into contact with the workpiece. Flush tips are used when a shorter electrical stick-out is desired, bringing the tip closer to the workpiece. Protruding tips are suitable for welders working in tight joint spaces, although there is a risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece. Replacing damaged front end parts may result in downtime.
