The Tweco® Adjustable Copper Nozzle with a 0.625" bore size is specifically designed for use with standard gas diffusers and Tweco® No. 4 MIG guns operating up to 450 A. With a 3.42" nozzle length and 0.97" outer diameter, it is perfectly suited for medium to heavy-duty welding applications. The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the outer surface for easy identification. Made from high-quality 122 DHP copper alloy, this adjustable nozzle offers a recessed tip to protruding contact tip relationship. Sold in packs of two, it provides excellent performance and durability. The nozzle housing is cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, and it effortlessly slides over the standard nozzle insulator (part No 34a, stock No 1340-1100). Choose recessed tips for higher heat applications or situations where the nozzle may come into contact with the workpiece, such as tack, spot, and stitch welds. Alternatively, flush tips are recommended for shorter electrical stick-out and tighter arc lengths, which bring the tip closer to the workpiece. Protruding tips are an excellent choice for welding open root pipes or tight weld joints. However, using protruding tips carries a risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece, potentially damaging front end parts and requiring downtime for replacement.
