The Tweco® Short Stop Copper Nozzle is specifically designed for standard gas diffusers and is compatible with Tweco® No. 4 MIG guns with up to 450 A. It has a 0.625" bore size and a 3.48" nozzle with a 0.875" OD, making it ideal for medium to heavy duty welding applications. The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the outer surface for easy identification. Made of 122 DHP copper alloy, this adjustable nozzle has a recess contact tip relationship ranging from 0.125" to 0.156". Sold in packs of 2, it offers versatility for higher heat applications that require longer electrical stick-out or when the nozzle needs to touch the work piece. The nozzle housing is cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing and can easily slide over the standard nozzle insulator (part No 34a, stock No 1340-1100). It's important to note that flush tips are generally used for shorter electrical stick-out, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths and bringing the tip closer to the work piece. Conversely, protruding tips are typically used when welding tight joints, but there is a risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, potentially causing damage and downtime for part replacement.
