The Tweco® Adjustable Copper Nozzle is specifically designed for standard gas diffusers and is compatible with Tweco® No. 4 MIG guns with a maximum current of 450 A. With a 0.625" bore size, this nozzle is ideal for medium to heavy duty welding applications. Its outer surface features a rolled stamped part number, ensuring easy identification. Made of 122 DHP copper alloy, the adjustable nozzle offers a versatile contact tip and nozzle relationship. Sold in packs of two, it provides durability and convenience. The adjustable nozzle fits over the standard nozzle insulator, part No. 34a (stock No. 1340-1100). Depending on the application requirements, there are three types of tips available: recessed tips for higher heat applications or instances when the nozzle may touch the workpiece, flush tips for shorter electrical stick-out and tighter arc lengths, and protruding tips for welding in tight joints, like open root pipes. However, using protruding tips increases the risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece, potentially damaging the front end parts and causing downtime for replacements.
