The Tweco® 23 Series Self Insulated Nozzle is specially designed for standard gas diffusers and is compatible with Tweco® no.3 MIG guns up to 450 A. This heavy-duty welding accessory features a 3/4" bore size and a 3.219" nozzle with a 0.875" outer diameter. With the part number easily visible on the outside, it is simple to identify. The 9/16"-18 UNC-2B thread size and recess contact tip relationship of 0.125 - 0.156" make it ideal for situations requiring longer electrical stick-out or when the nozzle comes into contact with the work surface. Made from 122 DHP copper alloy, this nozzle has a 3-piece design comprising a housing cut and formed from copper alloy tubing, a nozzle insert machined from solid brass and a silicone nozzle insulator. The nozzle insert allows for the machining of internal threads to match the conductor tube OD threads. With the nozzle insulator providing the necessary electrical insulation from the gas diffuser, this nozzle is sold in packs of two. Its three-piece design eliminates the need for an extra insulator, while the nozzle housing is made from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing. The g7 silicone material used to construct the nozzle insulator ensures reliable electrical insulation from the gas diffuser. The nozzle insert, machined from a solid brass alloy, includes internal threads that can be custom-fitted to the conductor tube OD threads. Overall, this 3-piece nozzle design, which includes the nozzle housing made from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, effortlessly threads onto the conductor tube assembly.
