The Tweco® 23 Series Self Insulated Nozzle is designed for heavy-duty welding applications and is compatible with up to 450 A Tweco® no.3 MIG guns. This 3.219" Nozzle has a 0.875" OD and a 0.625" bore size. It is made of 122 DHP copper alloy and features a recessed tip with a 0.125 - 0.156" contact tip relationship. The nozzle is threaded with 9/16"-18 UNC-2B thread size and is crafted with a 3-piece design. The nozzle housing is cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, while the nozzle insert is machined from solid brass. The nozzle insulator is made from silicone material, providing the necessary electrical insulation from the gas diffuser. Each pack contains 2 nozzles. The part number is rolled stamped on the outer surface for easy identification. The 3-piece design eliminates the need for an additional insulator. Different tip styles (recessed, flush, protruding) are available for various welding needs, but users should be cautious of potential arcing to the work piece, which may require replacement of front end parts and result in downtime. The nozzle is thread-on for easy installation.
