The Tweco® 23 Series Self Insulated Nozzle with 1/2" bore size is designed for use with up to 450 A Tweco® no.3 MIG guns. It is a 3.219" nozzle with a 0.875" OD, ideal for heavy-duty welding applications. The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the outer surface for easy identification.
This nozzle features a 9/16"-18 UNC-2B thread size and a recess contact tip relationship of 0.125 - 0.156". It is made of 122 DHP copper alloy, providing the necessary electrical insulation where longer electrical stick-out is required or when the nozzle touches the work place.
The nozzle has a 3-piece design, consisting of a nozzle housing cut and formed from copper alloy tubing, a nozzle insert machined from solid brass, and a nozzle insulator made of silicone material. The nozzle insert allows easy machining of internal threads to match the gas diffuser.
