The Tweco® Copper Nozzle with a 0.625" bore size is specifically designed for use with standard gas diffusers and Tweco® no.2 MIG guns with up to 250 A. This 2.1" Nozzle with a 3/4" OD is perfect for light to medium duty welding applications, providing optimum performance up to 250 A. For easy identification, the part number is clearly rolled stamped on the outer surface of the nozzle. It effortlessly slides over the standard nozzle insulator and can be adjusted to achieve the desired contact tip and nozzle relationship.
Crafted from 122 DHP copper alloy, this nozzle is ideal for high heat applications that require longer electrical stick-out or when the nozzle comes into contact with the work piece. The nozzle housing is precision cut and formed from copper alloy tubing for durability and reliability. Each pack includes two nozzles.
The adjustable design allows for easy customization of the contact tip and nozzle relationship, while the stamped part number on the outside surface ensures easy identification. The 122 dhp copper alloy tubing construction of the nozzle housing guarantees strength and longevity. When it comes to installation, the nozzle simply slides over the standard nozzle insulator.
Different types of tips are available depending on the specific welding requirements. Recessed Tips are best suited for higher heat applications or cases where longer electrical stick-out is needed and the nozzle may touch the work piece. Flush Tips are ideal for shorter electrical stick-out and tighter arc lengths, bringing the tip closer to the work piece. Protruding Tips are specifically designed for tight welding joints, such as open root pipe, where the welder needs to access a narrow space. However, there is a risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, potentially damaging the front end parts and requiring downtime for replacement.
