The Tweco® Short Stop Copper Nozzle with a 3/8" bore size is specifically designed for use with standard gas diffusers and Tweco® no.2 MIG guns up to 250 A. It is perfect for light to medium duty welding applications within this range. The part number is clearly rolled stamped on the nozzle's outer surface, making identification simple. This nozzle effortlessly slides over the standard nozzle insulator and can be adjusted to achieve the desired contact tip and nozzle relationship.
Made from 122 DHP copper alloy, this nozzle is ideal for higher heat applications that require longer electrical stick-out or when the nozzle may come into contact with the workpiece. The nozzle housing is precision cut and formed from copper alloy tubing to ensure reliability and durability. Each pack includes two nozzles for convenience.
Please note that recessed tips are generally used in applications that require higher heat and longer electrical stick-out, while flush tips are suitable for shorter electrical stick-out resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are typically used in tight weld joints, although there is a risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece, which could potentially damage the front end parts and result in downtime for replacement.
