The Tweco® Self Insulated Copper Nozzle is specifically designed for standard gas diffusers and is compatible with Tweco® No. 1 MIG guns up to 180 A. The nozzle has a bore size of 0.625" and an outer diameter of 2.224". It is ideal for light to medium duty welding applications.
This nozzle is made of high-quality 122 DHP copper alloy and features a 3-piece design. The nozzle housing is cut and formed from copper alloy tubing, the nozzle insert is machined from solid brass, and the nozzle insulator is made of g7 silicone material. This design eliminates the need for an additional insulator.
The part number is rolled stamped on the outer surface for easy identification. The nozzle threads onto the gas diffuser and provides the electrical insulation required. The nozzle insert can be machined to match the gas diffuser's internal threads.
Each pack includes 2 nozzles. There are three types of tips available: recessed tips for higher heat applications, flush tips for shorter electrical stick-out, and protruding tips for tight weld joints. However, protruding tips carry the risk of arcing to the work piece, potentially causing damage and requiring replacement.
