OVERVIEW

The Tweco® Robotics Nozzle Assembly with eliminator is a versatile piece of welding equipment. Designed specifically for use with robotic or fixed automation MIG guns, this assembly features a 3-piece design. With a 5/32" tip recess and a 1/2" diameter bore, it is suitable for light to medium duty welding applications up to 600 A.

The nozzle assembly is made with high-quality materials for optimal performance. The insert is formed from solid brass, allowing for easy machining of the internal threads to match the gas diffuser. The housing is made from tellurium copper alloy bar, which effectively dissipates heat. Additionally, the assembly includes a G7 silicone insulator that provides electrical insulation from the gas diffuser.

Different nozzle tip options are available to suit various welding needs. Recessed tips are ideal for higher heat applications or situations where longer electrical stick-out is required. Flush tips are used when a shorter electrical stick-out is desired for shorter or tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are suitable for welding open root pipe or tight weld joints, but there is a risk of arcing the tip to the work piece.

The straight ID bore at the front end of the nozzle allows for proper cleaning of the side walls, ensuring optimal gas flow. This nozzle is also compatible with nozzle cleaning stations commonly found in robotic weld cells.

The 3-piece design of the nozzle assembly eliminates the need for an additional insulator. The assembly is easily identifiable with a part number rolled stamped on the outside surface. Overall, this Tweco® Robotics Nozzle Assembly is a reliable and efficient choice for all your welding needs.
