The Tweco® Heavy Duty Nozzle is a durable and essential component for welding applications. With a size of 3/4", it fits easily onto a standard gas diffuser and is specifically designed for use with 450 A Tweco® SprayMaster® MIG guns.
This 3.21" Nozzle has a sturdy construction, with an outer diameter of 0.875" and is made from 122 DHP copper alloy. It is ideal for heavy-duty welding tasks and can withstand up to 450 A. To ensure easy identification, the part number is rolled stamped on the outer surface.
The Nozzle features a unique 3-piece design that includes a copper alloy tubing for the nozzle housing, a solid brass machined nozzle insert, and a silicone material nozzle insulator. The nozzle insert allows it to slide smoothly over the metal spring of the gas diffuser.
Nozzle offers electrical insulation required from the gas diffuser using the nozzle insulator and comes in a pack of 2. Its recessed tips are suitable for high-heat applications or when longer electrical stick-out is necessary. The flush tips are used for shorter stick-out and can result in shorter/tighter arc lengths, bringing the tip closer to the work piece. The protruding tips are designed for welding in tight spaces such as open root pipe joints, although there is a possibility of arcing the tip to the work piece which could potentially cause damage to front end parts.
