The Tweco® Slip-On Copper Nozzle is a high-quality nozzle designed for heavy-duty welding applications. With a 1/2" bore size, it is perfect for use with up to 250 A Tweco® Spray Master® MIG guns and fits standard gas diffusers.
This 2.383" Nozzle, made of 122 DHP copper alloy, is built to withstand the demands of tough welding tasks. It features a part number rolled stamped on the outer surface, making it easy to identify.
The nozzle has a unique 3-piece design, consisting of a copper alloy tubing nozzle housing, a solid brass nozzle insert, and a silicone nozzle insulator. The nozzle insert allows for easy sliding over the metal spring of the gas diffuser, providing electrical insulation required.
For convenience, the nozzle is sold in packs of 2. Its recess contact tip relationship of 0.125 - 0.156" is ideal when a longer electrical stick-out is needed or when the nozzle may touch the work piece.
Please note that this nozzle has different tip options for various welding scenarios. Recessed tips are recommended for higher heat applications and when longer electrical stick-out is necessary. Flush tips are suitable for shorter electrical stick-out, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are best for welding in tight weld joints but carry a risk of arcing to the work piece.
