The Tweco® 3/8" Air-Cooled Flush Nozzle is designed for easy use and convenience. It features Velocity™ tips that can be easily changed without the need for replacement parts. The nozzle has threads that minimize the tool and time required for installation. With fewer spatters, there is less clean-up needed after welding. Additionally, the nozzle has fewer parts to stock and store as there is no diffuser required. Its longer tip life ensures excellent welding performance, producing a smooth and stable arc for maximum convenience. The solid copper conductor path optimizes electrical surface contact and reduces the number of connections, resulting in cost savings for the user by minimizing consumable part replacements. The centered liner and rotatable tip provide optimized wire feedability and longer lifespan, reducing the need for frequent changes. The part number is rolled stamped on the outside surface for easy identification. The adjustable nozzle allows users to achieve the desired contact tip and nozzle relationship. The nozzle housing is cut and formed from 122 dhp copper alloy tubing, while sliding over the standard nozzle insulator. Recessed tips are recommended for higher heat applications or when longer electrical stick-out is required. Flush tips are suitable for shorter electrical stick-out or when a closer proximity to the work piece is needed. Protruding tips are ideal for welding in tight joints, such as open root pipe welding. However, caution is advised as there is a risk of damaging front end parts if the tip arcs with the work piece, resulting in downtime for replacement.
