The Tweco® Slip-On Nozzle is specifically designed for use with the 450 A Tweco® SprayMaster® MIG guns. It boasts a 0.625" bore size and is compatible with standard gas diffusers. The 3.21" nozzle, constructed from durable 122 DHP copper alloy, is ideal for heavy-duty welding applications. For easy identification, the part number is rolled stamped on the outer surface.

The nozzle features a special recess contact tip relationship, measuring 0.125 - 0.156", which is perfect for situations where a longer electrical stick-out is required or when the nozzle may come into contact with the workpiece. The 3-piece design includes a nozzle housing crafted from copper alloy tubing, a brass nozzle insert, and a silicone nozzle insulator that provides the necessary electrical insulation from the gas diffuser. The nozzle insert allows for easy sliding over the metal spring of the gas diffuser.

To ensure electrical insulation, the nozzle utilizes the nozzle insulator and is sold in packs of 2. The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the outer surface for easy identification. The 3-piece design eliminates the need for an additional insulator. The nozzle housing is cut and formed from high-quality 122 DHP copper alloy tubing. The nozzle insulator is made from g7 silicone material, providing reliable electrical insulation from the gas diffuser. Additionally, the nozzle insert is machined from a solid brass alloy and is securely crimped in place, allowing for smooth sliding over the metal spring of the gas diffuser.

Different tips are available for various applications: recessed tips, which are suitable for higher heat applications requiring longer electrical stick-out or when the nozzle may touch the workpiece (tack, spot, and stitch); flush tips, which are used when a shorter electrical stick-out is needed, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths and bringing the tip closer to the workpiece; protruding tips, which are ideal for welding open root pipes or tight weld joints, but carry the risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece, potentially causing damage and downtime for replacement.
