For easy identification, the part number is rolled stamped on the outer surface of the nozzle. It is sold in packs of 2.
The nozzle housing is cut and formed from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, ensuring optimal conductivity and longevity. It conveniently slides over the standard nozzle insulator (part No 34a, stock No 1340-1100).
This copper nozzle is available in two options - recessed tips and flush tips. The recessed tips are ideal for higher heat applications that require longer electrical stick-out or in cases where the nozzle may touch the work piece during tack, spot, and stitch welding. On the other hand, the flush tips are suitable for shorter electrical stick-out situations, bringing the tip closer to the work piece and resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths.
If you're working on open root pipe welding or any joint that requires access to tight weld joints, the protruding tips are perfect for you. However, be cautious as there is a risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, which could potentially damage the front end parts and require downtime for replacement.
