OVERVIEW

The Tweco® Coarse Threaded Copper Nozzle is designed to ensure the quality and longevity of your welding equipment. With its 3/4" bore size, this nozzle is compatible with standard gas diffusers and provides optimal protection for your welding process.

Measuring at 3.25" with a 0.875" OD, this nozzle is suitable for medium to heavy-duty welding applications up to 450 A. Its part number is conveniently stamped on the external surface for easy identification.

Crafted from copper alloy, this nozzle features a 3-piece design that eliminates the need for an additional insulator. It consists of a nozzle housing made from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, a nozzle insert machined from solid brass, and a nozzle insulator constructed from silicone material. The nozzle insert allows for internal threading to match the gas diffuser, and the threads are compatible with standard EL gas diffusers.

The nozzle offers the necessary electrical insulation required from the gas diffuser thanks to the nozzle insulator made from g7 silicone material. Sold in packs of 2, this nozzle caters to your welding needs efficiently.

Additionally, this product provides easy identification with its part number rolled stamped on the outside surface. The 3-piece design eliminates the requirement for an extra insulator. The nozzle housing is made from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, while the nozzle insulator is constructed from g7 silicone material, ensuring electrical insulation from the gas diffuser. The nozzle insert, machined from solid brass, allows for internal threading to match the gas diffuser.

Different nozzle tip variations are available based on specific welding requirements. Recessed Tips are suitable for higher heat applications and longer electrical stick-out, while Flush Tips are ideal for shorter electrical stick-outs and tighter arc lengths. Protruding Tips are recommended for welding in tight joints, such as open root pipe welding, although they possess the risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, potentially resulting in downtime and the need for replacement of front end parts.
