OVERVIEW

The Tweco® Coarse Threaded Copper Nozzle is designed to enhance the quality of your welding and extend the lifespan of your equipment. With a 0.625" bore size, this nozzle is suitable for standard gas diffusers. Its dimensions, measuring 3.365" with a 0.875" OD, make it ideal for medium to heavy duty welding applications up to 450 A. To ensure easy identification, a part number is rolled stamped on the external surface.

Crafted from a durable copper alloy, this nozzle boasts a 3-piece design that eliminates the need for an additional insulator. The housing is expertly cut and formed from high-quality 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, while the nozzle insert is precision-machined from solid brass. The nozzle insulator is made from reliable silicone material.

The nozzle insert allows for the machining of internal threads, enabling a perfect match with the gas diffuser. It conveniently threads onto standard EL gas diffusers, providing the necessary electrical insulation through the nozzle insulator. Sold as a pack of two, this product offers exceptional value.

A rolled stamped part number on the outside surface allows for easy identification. The three-piece design eliminates the need for an additional insulator. The nozzle housing is crafted from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, while the nozzle insulator is made from g7 silicone material, ensuring electrical insulation from the gas diffuser. The nozzle insert is machined from a solid brass alloy, allowing for precise threading to match the gas diffuser. This nozzle is compatible with standard EL gas diffusers.

There are three types of tips available: recessed, flush, and protruding. Recessed tips are suitable for higher heat applications that require longer electrical stick-out or when the nozzle may come into contact with the workpiece (tack, spot, and stitch). Flush tips are preferred when using a shorter electrical stick-out, which may result in shorter or tighter arc lengths. This brings the tip closer to the workpiece. Protruding tips are specifically used for welding open root pipes or any joint that requires the welder to access a tight weld joint. However, there is a risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece, potentially damaging the front end parts and requiring downtime for replacement.
