The Tweco® Coarse Threaded Copper Nozzle is designed for medium to heavy duty welding applications up to 450 A. With a bore size of 0.375" and a 3.25" length, this nozzle is ideal for use with a standard gas diffuser.
Featuring a 3-piece design, this nozzle eliminates the need for an additional insulator. The nozzle housing is made from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, while the nozzle insert is machined from solid brass. The nozzle insulator is constructed from g7 silicone material, providing the necessary electrical insulation from the gas diffuser.
The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the external surface for easy identification. The nozzle insert allows for machining of internal threads to match the gas diffuser. It securely threads onto a standard EL gas diffuser for a reliable connection.
Three types of tips are available: recessed, flush, and protruding. Recessed tips are suitable for higher heat applications or when the nozzle may come into contact with the work piece. Flush tips are used for shorter electrical stick-out and tighter arc lengths. Protruding tips are recommended for tight weld joints or open root pipe welding, although there is a slight risk of arcing and potential damage to front end parts.
