The Tweco® Coarse Threaded Brass Nozzle is designed for use with a standard gas diffuser. With a bore size of 1/2" and a nozzle length of 3.183", it is an excellent choice for light to medium duty welding applications up to 250 A. The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the outside for easy identification. Made from a copper alloy, the nozzle features a 3-piece design which eliminates the need for an additional insulator. The housing is crafted from 122 DHP copper alloy tubing, while the nozzle insert is machined from solid brass. The nozzle insulator is constructed from silicone material, providing the necessary electrical insulation from the gas diffuser. This nozzle threads onto a standard EL gas diffuser and has a crimped nozzle insert that allows it to slide over a metal spring on the gas diffuser. Sold in packs of two, this nozzle offers durability and performance. It is available in three variations: recessed tips, flush tips, and protruding tips, each suitable for different welding requirements. However, it's important to note that the protruding tips carry the risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece, potentially damaging front end parts and requiring downtime for replacement.
