With a 1.25" size and a 3/8"-24UNF-2A thread, this gas diffuser features four 0.094" gas holes for optimal performance. The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the external surface, allowing for easy identification. Made from 360-brass alloy bar stock, this gas diffuser ensures consistent dimensional stability.
The machined threads on the external surface enable easy nozzle assembly threading, securely holding the nozzle in place during the welding process. Additionally, the gas diffuser features a conduit set screw that securely holds the conduit liner in place. It also boasts a proper threaded conductor tube designed for use with MIG guns.
For your convenience, the gas diffuser is sold in packs of five. Its features enable easy identification through the rolled stamped part number on the outside surface. Different tips are available to suit your specific requirements. Recessed tips are suitable for applications requiring higher heat and longer electrical stick-out. Protruding tips are ideal for welders working in tight weld joints or on open root pipe welding projects.
Keep in mind that using protruding tips carries a potential risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, which could result in damage to front end parts and require downtime for replacement.
