OVERVIEW

The Tweco® 11 Series Standard Duty Brass Gas Diffuser is crafted with exceptional electrical properties, making it the ideal choice for light to medium duty welding applications up to 200 A. This gas diffuser is designed to be used with slip-on nozzle assemblies and is compatible with the 200 A Tweco® Mini-MIG-Gun® series and eliminator front-end consumables. With a 1.714" size and an M9 x 1.25-6G thread, this gas diffuser features four 0.094" gas holes. The part number is conveniently rolled stamped on the external surface for easy identification.

Made from high-quality 360-brass alloy bar stock, this gas diffuser offers consistent dimensional stability. Its external surface is machined with threads to allow the nozzle assemblies to securely thread over the diffuser, ensuring the nozzle remains in place during the welding process. The gas diffuser also includes a conduit set screw for securing the conduit liner in place. Additionally, a proper threaded conductor tube is provided for use with MIG guns.

This product is sold in packs of five. Its key features include easy identification with the part number rolled stamped on the outside surface, convenient machined thread for secure nozzle assembly threading, compatibility with thread-on nozzle assemblies, and consistent dimensional stability due to being machined from 360-brass alloy bar stock.

Our gas diffuser comes in recessed, flush, and protruding tip options. Recessed tips are suitable for higher heat applications that require longer electrical stick-out or when the nozzle may come into contact with the work piece (such as tack, spot, and stitch welding). Flush tips are ideal for shorter electrical stick-out, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths and bringing the tip closer to the work piece. Protruding tips are recommended for welding open root pipes or tight weld joints. However, it is important to note that using protruding tips increases the risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, potentially causing damage to front end parts and requiring downtime for replacement.
