The Tweco® 16RS/S Series Standard Duty Brass Gas Diffuser is a reliable choice for standard welding applications up to 350 A. This gas diffuser is designed to be used with slip-on nozzle assemblies and is compatible with the 350 A Tweco® Spray Master® MIG gun series as well as eliminator front-end consumables.
Made from high-quality 360-brass alloy bar stock, this gas diffuser offers consistent dimensional stability. It features a threaded conductor tube for easy attachment to MIG guns and a silicon O-ring for secure sealing against the nozzle assembly.
With a threaded size of M11 x 1.5-6g, this gas diffuser has six 0.094" gas holes to ensure proper gas flow. The part number is rolled stamped on the external surface for easy identification, and it comes with the replacement O-ring part number (EL52-1) for convenience.
The gas diffuser is sold in packs of five and provides OD course threads, allowing the nozzle assembly to securely attach to the conductor tube. Choose the recessed, flush, or protruding tips based on your specific welding needs, whether it's higher heat applications, shorter electrical stick-out, or tight weld joints.
Please note that using protruding tips increases the risk of arcing the tip to the workpiece, potentially damaging front-end parts and requiring downtime for replacements.
