The Tweco® 14 Series Brass Fixed Heavy Duty Nozzle Gas Diffuser is an exceptional option for slip-on nozzle assemblies. It is specifically designed to be paired with the 450 A Tweco® No. 3/4 MIG gun series and eliminator front-end consumables. This gas diffuser possesses remarkable electrical properties, making it ideal for light to medium duty standard welding applications up to 450 A. To facilitate easy identification, the part number is rolled stamped on the external surface, along with the overall length.
Crafted from 360-brass alloy bar stock, this gas diffuser offers consistent dimensional stability. Its external surface features machined threads, which allow the nozzle assemblies to easily thread over and securely hold the nozzle in place during the welding process. Additionally, the gas diffuser contains a conduit set screw that securely holds the conduit liner in place. Each pack includes 5 gas diffusers.
For specific welding scenarios, different tip types are available. Recessed tips are suitable for applications requiring higher heat or longer electrical stick-out, or when the nozzle may come into contact with the workpiece (tack, spot, and stitch). Flush tips are used when a shorter electrical stick-out is required, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths and bringing the tip closer to the workpiece.
