The Tweco® Eliminator® Series Brass Gas Diffuser is a high-quality accessory designed for use with course thread nozzle assemblies and the 600 A Tweco® Eliminator® MIG gun series. This gas diffuser is also compatible with eliminator front-end consumables. With exceptional electrical properties, it is perfect for light to medium duty standard welding applications up to 600 A.
Featuring a 2.521" size and M12 x 1.5-6g thread, this gas diffuser has six 0.094" gas holes. It ensures a secure seal against the nozzle assembly with its conduit liner for up to 1/16" wire and silicon O-ring. The machined course thread on the external surface allows easy threading and secure placement of the nozzle during welding.
For ease of identification, the external surface of the gas diffuser displays the part number and overall length, along with the replacement O-ring number. Crafted from 360-brass alloy bar stock, it offers consistent dimensional stability. The proper threaded size conductor tube ensures compatibility with MIG guns.
Each pack includes five gas diffusers. Key features include easy identification with the rolled stamped part number on the outside surface, compatibility with course thread nozzle assemblies, and consistent dimensional stability thanks to machining from 360 brass alloy bar stock. The gas diffuser is equipped with a silicon O-ring to securely seal against the nozzle assembly. Its machined course thread allows easy threading and secure placement of the nozzle during welding. A replacement O-ring with part number EL54-1 (Stock No 1560-1118) is available.
Different tips are available, each suited for specific welding scenarios. Recessed Tips are ideal for higher heat applications or instances where a longer electrical stick-out is required. Flush Tips are suitable for situations where a shorter electrical stick-out is used, resulting in shorter/tighter arc lengths and bringing the tip closer to the work piece. Protruding Tips are perfect for welding open root pipe or tight weld joints. However, using Protruding Tips carries the risk of arcing the tip to the work piece, which could potentially damage front end parts, leading to necessary downtime for replacement.
