The Tweco® Weldskill® Contact Tip is designed for use with 0.040" wire, providing reliable protection for your welds and extending the life of your gun. With excellent electrical properties, this contact tip is perfect for standard welding applications up to 400 A. The part number and wire diameter are clearly marked for easy identification. This 1 1/2" contact tip features a 1/4"-28 UNF-2A thread size, a 0.044" nominal ID, and a 1/4" OD. Made from durable 122 DHP copper alloys, it is machined from a copper alloy tubing to ensure a consistent and smooth inside diameter surface with a tolerance of +/-0.003". The threaded style guarantees proper contact with a gas diffuser when installed to the MIG gun. Each pack contains 25 contact tips. Its ergonomic handle with a diamond pattern offers a comfortable grip, and the trigger has been tested at over 1.2 million cycles without failure for long-lasting use. The contact tip also features a rugged steel spring stain relief for durability and robustness.
