Tweco® 14 Series Standard Duty Tapered Contact Tip is designed for use with 0.04" wire and is compatible with 200 - 400 A Tweco® No.2, No.3, No.4 MIG guns. This contact tip offers excellent electrical properties and is ideal for standard welding applications up to 400 A. It features a part number and wire diameter for easy identification. The contact tip has a 1 1/2" length, 1/4"-28 UNF-2A thread size, 0.048" nominal ID, and 1/4" OD.
Made from 122 DHP copper alloys, the contact tip is machined from a copper alloy tubing to ensure a consistent and smooth inside diameter surface with a tolerance of +/-0.003". The threaded style of the contact tip guarantees proper contact with a gas diffuser when installed on the MIG gun. Each pack contains 25 contact tips.

By twisting it quarter turn clockwise, you can reach the tip wear point after use, and twisting it half turn counter-clockwise exposes a new wear point, effectively doubling the tip's lifespan. The thick-walled diffuser design acts as a heat sink, effectively conducting heat away from the arc source. This design also increases the electrical conductive surface area, thereby enhancing electrical conductivity.
