The Tweco® 14H Series Heavy Duty Contact Tip is designed for heavy duty welding applications up to 400 A. It is specifically tailored for use with 1/16" wire and is compatible with 200 - 400 A Tweco® No.2, No.3, No.4 MIG guns. This contact tip offers excellent electrical properties and is made from a copper alloy tubing, ensuring a consistent and smooth inside diameter surface with a tolerance of +/-0.003". The threaded style contact tip guarantees proper contact with a gas diffuser when installed to the MIG gun. Each contact tip is clearly marked with its part number and wire diameter for easy identification. Twist it a quarter turn clockwise to lock it in place. Additionally, twisting it half a turn counter-clockwise after use exposes a new wear point, effectively doubling the tip's lifespan. The thick-walled diffuser design acts as a "heat sink," effectively dissipating heat away from the arc source. This design also increases the electrical conductive surface area, thereby improving electrical conductivity.
