The Tweco® 11 Series Heavy Duty Contact Tip is designed to accommodate 0.040" wire and is compatible with the 160 - 250 A Tweco® No.1 MIG gun and other specific MIG gun series. This contact tip is specifically engineered for heavy-duty welding applications up to 200 A, providing excellent electrical properties. With its part number and wire diameter clearly marked, it is easy to identify. The contact tip is constructed from extruded or gun-drilled 122 DHP copper alloy and machined from copper alloy tubing to ensure a consistent, smooth inside surface with a tolerance of +/-0.003". Its threaded style guarantees proper contact with a gas diffuser when installed to the MIG gun. It is available in slip-on or thread-on nozzle styles, offering various bore sizes. The contact tip locks in place when twisted, allowing for enhanced electrical conductivity through increased surface contact. Additionally, its thick-walled design acts as a heat sink, dissipating heat away from the arc source. When a wear point is reached, the contact tip can be twisted a quarter turn clockwise to reveal a fresh wear point, effectively doubling the tip's lifespan. Each pack contains 25 contact tips.
