The Tweco® 11 Series Heavy Duty Contact Tip is designed to accommodate 3/64" wire and is compatible with the 160 - 250 A Tweco® No.1 MIG gun as well as other MIG gun series. This contact tip is perfect for heavy-duty welding applications up to 200 A. It is made from an extruded or gun-drilled 122 DHP copper alloy and machined from a copper alloy tubing, ensuring a consistent and smooth inside diameter surface with a tolerance of +/-0.003". The threaded style contact tip ensures proper contact with a gas diffuser when installed to the MIG gun and comes in slip-on or thread-on nozzle styles with various bore sizes. This contact tip securely locks in place when twisted, providing better electrical conductivity and increased surface contact. Its thick-walled design acts as a heat sink, dissipating heat away from the arc source. When the tip wear point is reached, simply twist it quarter turn clockwise to reveal a new wear point, effectively doubling the life of the tip. Each contact tip is marked with its part number and wire diameter for easy identification.
