This 1.47" contact tip features a 1/4"-28 UNF-2A thread size, a 0.051" nominal ID, and a 0.283" OD. Its construction from chrome zirconium 1815 alloy, machined from chrome zirconium copper tubing, guarantees a consistent and smooth inside diameter surface with a tight tolerance of +/-0.003".
The threaded style of this contact tip ensures proper contact with a gas diffuser when installed to the MIG gun. It is also harder than standard copper alloy materials, increasing wear resistance and prolonging the tip's life.
