The Tweco® Weldskill® Heavy Duty Contact Tip is designed for use in heavy duty welding applications up to 400 A. Its excellent electrical properties make it an ideal choice. The contact tip has a 0.045" wire size and features a part number and wire diameter for easy identification. It has a 1.47" length and a 1/4"-28 UNF-2A thread size, with a 0.054" nominal ID and 0.283" OD. Made from 122 DHP copper alloys, the contact tip is machined from a copper alloy tubing to ensure a consistent and smooth inside diameter surface, with a tolerance of +/-0.003". The threaded style ensures proper contact with a gas diffuser when installed to the MIG gun. Each pack contains 25 contact tips. It is marked with the part number and wire diameter for easy identification. The contact tip offers an ergonomic handle with a diamond pattern for a better grip. The long-life trigger has been tested at over 1.2 million cycles without failure, and the rugged steel spring strain relief ensures durability and robustness.
