The Tweco® Eliminator® 450 A MIG Gun is designed to work with wire sizes ranging from 0.045 to 1/16". With a metal jacketed conductor tube, this MIG gun is built to last. It is air-cooled and features strain relief front and rear spring with cable support, offering a 60% duty cycle with CO2 gas. The 25' power cable with Miller® style rear connection ensures smooth wire feedability. This gun is equipped with a standard 60-degree conductor tube that can swivel 360 degrees around the handle for convenience. It can be quickly removed and replaced without removing the conduit. The MIG gun also features a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection that allows for easy wire feeder connection or disconnection.
Designed to reduce operator fatigue, the ergonomic handle and extended trigger length also help minimize heat radiated to the welder's gloved hand. The split-half handle case provides easy access for field repairs, as do the field repairable mechanical cable connections for Cablehoz®. Spare trigger leads are also included in the Cablehoz® for added convenience.
The MIG gun utilizes an improved performance patented contact tip that eliminates threads and instead uses a cam style interface for increased surface contact with the gas diffuser. Its ball and socket conductor tube design allows for articulation and features a three-layer construction for added durability. This design includes a copper tube, silicon resin fiberglass insulator, and a metal jacket.
The Eliminator® offers wide welding applications, including spray transfer and pulse welding modes with straight CO2 or mixed gases. It features front and rear spring strain relief and cable support, as well as a durable metal jacketed conductor tube. The patented, extended life consumables ensure a longer lifespan for the MIG gun.
With its compact and ergonomic handle design, the Eliminator® is comfortable to use. It has been improved with the addition of dual spring and rubber strain reliefs on both ends of the MIG gun. The metal jacketed articulating conductor tube is standard, but there is also an option for a fixed locking conductor tube. The gun is equipped with four trigger wires for improved feedability during welding tasks.
