The Tweco® Eliminator® 450 A MIG Gun is designed to easily accommodate wires ranging in size from 0.045 to 1/16". Its metal jacketed conductor tube ensures long-lasting usage. This air-cooled MIG gun is equipped with a strain relief front and rear spring with cable support, offering a 60% duty cycle when used with CO2 gas. The 25' power cable provides excellent wire feedability and features a Tweco® style rear connection. The gun features a standard 60-degree conductor tube that can swivel 360 degrees around the handle, allowing for rapid removal and replacement without removing the conduit. The MIG gun also includes a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection, making it easy to connect or disconnect at the wire feeder.

This MIG gun has several operator-friendly features, such as an ergonomic handle to reduce operator fatigue and an extended trigger length that helps to minimize radiated heat to the welder's gloved hand. It is also field repairable, with a split-half handle case that provides easy access for repairs. Additionally, the mechanical cable connections for Cablehoz® are field repairable, and spare trigger leads are included in the Cablehoz®.

The patented contact tip design eliminates the need for threads, instead utilizing a cam style interface between the contact tip and gas diffuser for increased surface contact. The ball and socket conductor tube design further enhances performance, with its articulating conductor tube and three-layer construction consisting of a copper tube, silicon resin fiberglass insulator, and metal jacket.

This MIG gun is suitable for a wide range of welding applications, including spray transfer and pulse welding modes with either straight CO2 or mixed gases. It offers front and rear spring strain relief and cable support, ensuring durability during use. The metal jacketed conductor tube adds to its overall durability, and the extended life consumables are protected by a patented design.

With its compact and ergonomic handle design, the Eliminator® has been elevated to new heights with the addition of dual springs and rubber strain reliefs on both ends of the MIG gun. The standard version includes a metal jacketed articulating conductor tube, but there is also an optional fixed locking conductor tube available. The MIG gun also features four trigger wires and improved feedability.
