The Tweco® Professional No. 5 Classic Series 500 A MIG Gun is a high-quality tool designed for industrial applications. It is compatible with wires of size 3/32" and features a metal jacketed conductor tube with enhanced direct plug capabilities.
With its air-cooled design and heat insulating conductor tube, this MIG gun offers a 60% duty cycle when used with CO2 gas. The 15' power cable ensures excellent wire feedability and has a Tweco® style rear connection.
This MIG gun features a standard 60-degree conductor tube that can swivel 360 degrees around the handle. It can also be easily removed and replaced without removing the conduit. The gun incorporates a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection, allowing users to connect or disconnect at the wire feeder.
The oval-shaped handle, which has been an industry standard for over 40 years, reduces the grip required to manipulate the MIG gun position. It is balanced to pivot at the center, making it easier to use in different welding positions and reducing operator fatigue. The gun also includes a convenient gun hanger located at the bottom for easy resting when not in use.
Designed for heavy-duty industrial applications, this MIG gun features a special plastic composition for a high impact resistant handle. The steel spring strain relief provides support to the Cablehoz® coming out of the rear of the handle, minimizing wire feed issues. The mechanical connection of the conductor tube and Cablehoz® within the handle ensures an excellent current path to the end of the contact tip.
The MIG gun is equipped with two ball-point screws to secure the Cablehoz® and conductor tube in place. Its trigger contains silver plated contacts with a self-cleaning action every time it is engaged or disengaged.
