OVERVIEW

The Tweco® Weldskill® 400 A MIG Gun is designed for light to medium duty fabrication. It can accommodate wires ranging in size from 0.035 to 0.045 inches. This air-cooled MIG gun offers a 60% duty cycle with CO2 gas. The 15' power cable ensures good wire feedability and has a Tweco® style rear connection. The gun incorporates a standard 60-degree conductor tube, allowing it to swivel 360 degrees around the handle. It can be quickly and easily removed and replaced without removing the conduit. The MIG gun features a fully insulated Mig-Kwik connection, making it convenient for users to connect or disconnect at the wire feeder.

Operators will appreciate the oval handle shape, which helps reduce fatigue during use. This MIG gun is durable and dependable, making it suitable for industrial applications. It has a heavy-duty design and high impact resistant handle and components. The three-layer conductor tube construction, consisting of a copper tube, silicon-resin glass insulator, and metal jacket, ensures longevity and efficiency. In the event of any repairs needed, the split-half handle case allows for easy access, making it field repairable. No additional connectors are required to repair Cablehoz®.

Furthermore, the Tweco® Weldskill® 400 A MIG Gun offers improved performance and longer life with its wide selection of front end consumables. It also includes heavy-duty contact tips for high heat applications. The metal jacketed conductor tube has a 60° bend radius at 3 inches, ensuring flexibility without compromising performance. Both front and rear spring strain relief mechanisms are included for added durability and stability.
