The ESAB® Purox® 4202 Series Acetylene Cutting Nozzle/Cutting Tip is designed to cut metal between 3/16" and 1/4" in thickness. It requires a gas pressure of 30 - 40 PSIG for cutting oxygen and 5 - 7 PSIG for Propane/Natural Gas. With a cutting speed of 18 - 27 inches per minute, this nozzle/cutting tip creates an average kerf width of 0.060 - 0.065". It also consumes gas at a rate of 30 - 40 CFH for total oxygen and 8 - 10 CFH for Propane/Natural Gas. Equipped with 6 preheat holes and a 68" drill cutting, this medium pre-heat nozzle is perfect for beveling and general-purpose applications. It provides sufficient preheat for beveling tasks.
